Rumor has it..

..that KI will reset PvP once the test realm goes live. Not really a rumor since it will happen anyway.

“Change is never easy, young Wizards. As we go forward with some changes to our Player vs Player matching system and rewards system, it is necessary for us to put everyone back on the same level playing field. To do this, we will be ending what is called the ‘First Age’ of PvP in Wizard101. This means that you will receive a badge that reflects the status of your PvP rank the day this update is applied to the Live Game. You will be able to display this badge at any time. 

When this update goes to the Live Game, all current PvP Ranks will be reset to 500. This does not impact your Arena Ticket balance.”

..Therefore, my cousin and I decided that this would be a good time to go in and play a few rounds before the arena makes its major change. Happy dueling!

Yes.. I sort of died in the inside a little bit when I saw that we get a seed for wizards while pirates get an eyepatch instead. Doesn’t seem fair to me. I want a cool eyepatch too..

Where.What.Why.When.

Hunter and I (Stephanie) haven’t been able to update much.. then again there’s not that much we can update.

There’s test realm if anyone wants to try that out. The new hair styles are definitely rocking people.

To be completely honest, I don’t know what will happen to this section of the tumblr world. Hunter and I are still debating if we should still continue SpiralSeeker. We are truly grateful to all of our followers but at the same time, life is just getting too busy to post about a game. Maybe summer might bring some changes but for now, there is not much to expect, except, funny pictures of Wizard101 stuff every now and then. Happy dueling!

A BIG THANK YOU

In case you didn’t know, KI is donating $100,000 to two charities devoted to helping children in Texas. That is AWESOME. I’m going to attempt to answer your question to the best of my understanding as much as possible.

From what I know, KingIsle get their inspirations from a variety of things, for example Marleybone is a mixture of certain European elements while Mooshu clearly has some Asian concepts there. It is possible that what you mentioned could be where KI might have gotten their ideas for the Efreet spell like how they came about to the spell Ra for the balance school. Nevertheless, I must give kudos to KI for their creativity!

Creative Pet Snacks

If there’s one place where there is plenty of creativity, then I would have to give that to the pet snacks section. I’m one of those people that try to get the best pet possible (for pvp and pve purposes) so I do spend quite a lot of my time training pets and feeding pets. One of the things I notice over time is how much thought is given for each snack that the team over at KI came up with. I’m just going to name off a few that are particularly interesting to me.

• Mystic Dragon Fruits 

 

• Deviled Eggs

The snack version is an evil egg..

..but the real life version looks interesting [maybe even yummy!] to me.

• Chocolate Crickets

The name is pretty self-explanatory but I’m not too sure about feeding this snack to my pet, really.

And I don’t think the real life version would taste any better either.. Who knows?

..anyway, I think that’s enough with grossing people out. Let’s just say I can’t wait until KI comes up with even more pet snacks. Now, some ice-cream for me..

Happy New Year fellow wizards on Tumblr! Hunter and I (Stephanie) would like to thank you all of you for sharing the experience of Wizard101 and Pirate101 with us on here. We did not expect at all to have even close to 100 followers (92 to be exact) and that is just an amazing mark. For 2013, we hope to continue this adventure with you guys and maybe even expand our horizon a little bit. Once again, thank you for being such amazing readers and followers, enjoy the new year!!
